Hansei is a Japanese term that means continuous improvement through self-reflection.

To us here at Hansei Furniture, it means that we take a methodical approach to examining how and why we've done things and how we can improve for the future.

With that in mind, after dealing with the poor quality and needlessly complex flat pack furniture that's common on the market, we decided there had to be a better way.

After extensive problem solving, research and product design, we have elegant, strong and long-lasting furniture that most importantly, we manufacture and supply right here in Wollongong, on the South Coast of NSW.
